Research has shown that Citriodora and Citronella Essential Oils and Neem Oil are effective in repelling mosquitoes, whereas Basil, Peppermint, Tea Tree, Cinnamon, and Lavender help guard against other bugs. You may diffuse these, or apply on her clothes or crib, or apply topically after diluting in a base oil. Avoid topical application of Citriodora for kids under 2 years, and Citronella for babies under 6 months old.
